Go Janet Go! Now we have to solve to logistic of the USO Leg of the Rock Wit Chu Tour and it will be all steam ahead. On Friday the 29th of August 2009, Janet will have presales for her Madison Square Garden appearance on 16 October 2008.
NIVEA starts Ad Campaign with Janet’s Tour Promotions
Live Nation the tour promoter and production agency and NIVEA the number one sponsor of the Rock Wit Chu Tour are teaming up to push the tour forward. You will start seeing NIVEA Advertisement along with the promotion of the tour in the near future. Also, NIVEA is the official sponsor of the Rock Wit Chu USO Leg of the Tour which is a 10 day tour with 5 engagements to date at major Army Military Installations.
In addition to the 5 venues tour there will be a Concert Movie and NIVEA is hoping to reach the whole military through this promotional tour, but know this is not realistic. The concert will be viewed on about 6,500 screens through AAFES Reel Time Theaters and free of charge in the war zones.
NIVEA is going all out on this one and plan to send Aid Packages to the troops in the war zones, in addition to issuing promotional packages throughout the tour. They can afford it they are number one in there business. NIVEA is the world’s number one personal care brand and plans to increase their market share with civilians and the military, the military is a not widely know but 9 billion dollar market share and it is certainly worth the effort to reach this market and they also realize these are very hard times for the military with morale at an all time low, over 3,500 men and women are getting killed in war and another 6,500 are committing suicide after returning from war annually, not to mention the over 50,000 casualties from the is war to date. Live Nation, NIVEA and Janet feel this is the least they can do to support the troops.
