“The Idle Dreamer” Screenplay Summary

Can one die of a broken heart?

 

I think loneliness can wear a person down.  If a person heart is broken it can lead to a nervous breakdown that can lead to the dependence of medications and anyone who has any experience with psychotropic medications knows it has side effects.  I know a guy who fell in love with a woman who had him not in her heart at all.  But his love for her was greater than her lack of love for him; still she had no love for him.  He lost it and had a nervous breakdown that required psychiatric help.

 

For many years he was under psychiatric care and he was diagnosed as being in love with someone who did not love him also.  They tried many medications and called him delusional because he believed she love him but she did not and everyone could see it but him.

 

Over time the side effects kick in and he became diabetic due directly from the medications, so in reality she made him sick, or was the sickness self inflicted?  Regardless his love for her became not only mental but also physical as his body started to deteriorate.  It got to the point that he could not even sleep without medications and needed caffeine to wakeup, his whole life became unnatural.  As his family and friends asked him could this possibly be love or is it insanity?

 

 This is the question that has to be answered in the screenplay the Idle Dreamer!

The fairytale we are told is someday you will find love

But the reality is love is in-love with money

I learned the hard way nobody needs love

All they need is food on the plate and roof over their head

 

Everyday on the radio they drill you about success

While the good book tells that the one who loves is blessed

But what good is love, when you’re sitting home all alone

Watching the one you love in-love with a man called success….

Up to now I have been a one man band, writing, composing and performing my music and songs, I have a screenplay with copyrights and another registered with the writers guild of America and now I am in the process of trying to find help as I help others.  The only expectations I have to satisfy are my own.  I worked with Janet Jackson for the last two years or year and a half vigorously and it was all games from as far back as the inception of my offering of services, so if my work got nowhere it was because I was depending on help from the wrong people, people who take and never give.  Janet has been very self seeking!

 

Now I am working with family and friends in my life today and not just promises and if something comes of my ideas great if not I enjoy thinking anyway, so I am doing what I like to do and that is come up with ideas and from the look of things more people should try to use them and I would get paid as a result of this.  But some people are set in there ways.

 

Nothing is written in stone and outcomes are yet to be settled with Chris Brown, everyone counted out Magic Johnson with HIV and he made a load of money as a result and is still kicking.  If Chris play ball he has an opportunity to get paid like he never dreamed of, can you imagine being a spokesperson and celebrity for the pharmaceutical industry, in the mental health industry?  These companies will get in line to get him to use their brand to promote their products.  We have a lot of sick kids out there sedating themselves with street drugs to not deal with emotional problems stemming from drug addicted parents to single parenthood, to abusive homes and violent communities to a age and time of war, the economic crisis and they are afraid and drug abuse is a reaction.  Chris has the power to change that through endorsements.

 

I need to help the right people for a change; instead of people who use my knowledge and never compensate me.  My next project may well be with the Underground Movement and it is in the process and again organizing projects is a pleasure to me, see what you fail to realize is I am doing things with my personal time that I will do for free, but I know I have value, my only problem is I help people who may not have my best interest at heart and not that I help people which is a good thing, like a young lady told me “if you do it for yourself you are selfish like them, but do it to help others.”  An open hand can receive!  I will never stop giving not all people are selfish users.

 

The Message of the Day

 

Your head may be full of wonderful ideas but what’s the point if you never do anything with them? That’s an observation rather than a criticism but deep down you know it’s time to turn inspiration into action. Aim high. Act now.

The Sun in Cancer at this time of year makes all things possible, so why are you trying to go back and change outcomes that have already occurred? Put the past out of your mind — it’s no longer of any importance.

First all, I just want to say big ups to SUS or Service for the Underserved, a non profit organization that does excellent work helping people with special needs, with housing and other things connected to offering people who are underserved in society have a better balanced life.  As the CEO and Chief of Staff (I say no names) put it, they know how to celebrate life, which caught me off guard and by surprise.  They held a wonderful event yesterday.  I mean it was a party mid-day afternoon!  That said.

 

I hope Janet takes my advice and adds 4 bonus tracks to her new album in SACD format and gets sponsorship from Sony/Phillips Electronics to produce this more complex format and being it was my idea at least two of the songs should be mine’s.  I do not think that is asking too much?

 

Like I said everyone deserves a second change and even a third and 7 times 7 if necessary, one of the things about SUS is we do not give up on a person easily and that mentality I plan to take with me into the music and entertainment thing, with the attitude to apply it to the most important person, myself.  It has been an uphill travel and battles, as I receive so many bullshit promises being pulled by a string I refuse to give up, though I may tire at times.

 

I plan to work with talented people that most people would try to abuse in the industry and I need my name put up on bright lights to grandfather them into the game, that is what I am doing now, I am building a new home studio and trying to network with already established production studios within family and friends.  As for not trusting anyone that is just too damn hard, I do not have the time to micromanage everyone they have to be a level of autonomy.  It is my goal to organize something self sustaining

 

The Message of the Day:

 

Negative thinking of any sort is a no-no. Focus your attention on the good things in the world — there are still plenty of them — and refuse to give in to gloom and doom. The world you inhabit is the one you create.

The Sun in Cancer may be a protective influence but that does not mean you can let down your guard to such an extent that it is easy for scammers and snake oil salesmen to take advantage of you. Trust no one.

I have been getting excellent reviews about the screenplay “Everybody Has Demons.”  I have been told such words as awesome and thumb’s up.  My sister Egeria is going to take over from here as far as seeking financers she has a good network.  Any changes or additions to the screenplay have to be approved by me.  I still think Denzel Washington is the best Director in the world and any actor or actress under him will be at their best, because I believe he will bring the best out of them.  Janet and Alicia are written in stone for their parts I wrote it for them and Beyonce and Anthony I really want to give Anthony a break and Beyonce though it was written with her in mind, I think she may still have to be sold to the idea, also John Gotti Junior is in and I plan for him to play his father in the Apostle and honestly the best person to play me in the Apostle would be Will Smith.  First let us get “Everybody has Demons,” off the ground.

 

We planned to put up another home studio soon, it will be for recording vocals to musical tracks, then maybe later I will consider making it into a full production studio.  It will however have limited music creation capability but my focus is on doing vocal tracks on this one.  Hopefully we will have this done next month.  I want to work with my nephew’s crew the Underground Movement as well as other talented people of my choosing

You have a talent for communication and if you use it wisely over the coming 12 months it will take you far. Remember though that it’s not enough just to say something — what you say must be felt in the heart.

Others may be worried about their jobs and their incomes but you have faith in the essential goodness of the universe. Never forget that it’s your mind that creates your world. Positive thoughts lead to positive outcomes — always.

I do not know what you are talking about, however some what good news is that my Uncle Eston Roberts is finally waking up after surgery on Friday; I guess the operation took a lot out of him.  Maybe if he comes to New York City we might find him a kidney

 

There is a lot going on but I do not see how I am responsible, I mean nobody ask me for permission to be sanctioned, I mean you have a lot of renegades out there today.  Nobody comes to me for a blessing before their actions anymore, so in reality are they frauds?  Yes I made a request for the services of Denzel, Janet, Alicia, Beyonce, Vanessa, Ice T, Tito, Jackie and Jermaine, my nephew Anthony, Martin, Bobby and John Junior and a few more people but that movie is all good

 

I mean people make a mockery out of what is a code of loyalty and are imitators instead of innovators.  I mean you have this crew out of Atlanta trying to make a name for themselves in Las Vegas calling themselves Ocean 7, but they are not sanctioned, Frank Sinatra was sanctioned by the Don as is Michael Jackson, but I do not approve of Jermaine Dupri as the new act out of Las Vegas, talking about fun is jumping into the pool in a $6,000 tuxedo, now I am all for Michael Jackson opening a Thriller Casino in Las Vegas and working behind the scenes on my movie, “Everybody has Demons.”  It can be done for $15 to $20 Million but I want to market it at $30 Million for promotional purposes.

 

People may not know but my father Don Carlo Gambino was known for wearing $200 suits, he was not a very flashy guy, what John Gotti did was attracted the media attention and took the heat off of people such as me, took a fall and walked out the back door.  All to say all the stupidity and negativity do not try to blame me for it, give me credit where it is due.  The seeds I am planting are beautiful and the seeds I planted were successful, it was when people stop including me in their lives that shit went haywire.  Do Rhythm Nation 1814 and Thriller ring a bell?  These are examples of endorsed works.  And I am personally disappointed that something could not be worked out with AllGood Entertainment for the one night show in Texas.  Patrick and Michael are disappointments and they need to sit down like business men who are both authorized and resolve their differences.

Since I fell for Janet I lost most of my friends and almost lost my family as well, everyone was trying to diagnoses me instead of letting me be me.  I mean all my siblings seemed to have engaged in dysfunctional relations time after time, but had time to judge my decision,  I do not know if that means they think I am better than them or worst, but certainly not the same.  My friends also judged the same as they were all over the city, state a country in bad situations, but they had time to focus on my decision.  As AIDS created an asexual revolution the cure will bring about a sexual revolution, we are a generation of revolutionist that said, it has little to do with my point.

I wasted a lot of my life on the streets hanging out, as I was alone, I honestly have no idea how many women I been with, but I like Alicia found ways to avoid commitment, hell find someone who has someone already and that is the difference between me a and Janet.  Janet stayed in someone’s arms as a show piece, I did the creep and grew tired of this, it became meaningless in the absence of love and then I woke up crazy loving Janet and it has been that way for some time now, and I do not know yet if it will end in regret.

My Uncle Billy had an infected kidney removed it was full of puss and was poisoning his system instead of filtering it, so he is on kidney dialysis while a kidney is doing the opposite of the intended treatment, hopefully he will not need it as much now.  I would like to go down there and see him, I should.

I am the type of person who can not see you for 10 years and the conversation will continue where we left off last time, If I had relationship with you, I realize people change but do they really?  I mean we learn from experiences and change because the first law of nature is self preservation, some of us who are fools become wise and better people, some of us grow sick and humble  and there are those who make 180 degree turns, but do we change or do we change our character?  Are these the same?  I mean do we go to college to get a job or to become better rounded?

Before I wrote the screenplay “Everybody has Demons,” I created the characters first and then I created situations that the characters had to endure as the screen evolved a person’s character changed because of experiences, but the change in character had to take place for the person to do something out of the original character.  So by the innermost nature of our character we are judged, but are that that we are?  People look at how a personality acts, but suppose acting is your profession?  I realize even in Hollywood there are human beings playing roles and sometimes they get it twisted and actually believe their fantasy they sell to us.  You read enough scripts to the point they influence your actual being, and then does that make you another person’s imaginary plan?  Yes if you play it out!  Then the joke is on you.

You will have plenty to say for yourself over the coming 12 months and some of your words will cause quite a stir. That’s good. The world needs people who are not afraid to speak up. The world needs people like you.

Friends or family? Who do you give the most attention to? Only you can decide but remember this: friends often change over time but family always remains the same. Of course, if you’re smart you’ll find time for both.

My nephew said something to me that resonated; he said never do business with family and friends, but I happen to disagree.  His rational was if they get upset they will halt your project if they can out of emotions.  I found that I was doing exactly that, for personal reasons, I decided to stop feeding the Janet’s crew with music, song and ideas; instead I have to see it through and see where the chips fall at the end.  I have to separate family relations and business.

 

Not to say I am not working on my own project, but I know my material is very controversial and provocative, and that is the intentions and I am not sure if Janet can get away with singing some on my lyrics, but almost always the music is very good or better that that, I can turn a beat and if you listen to music today the vocals are cool but the lyrics are senseless and the music sucks, so we will see, where this goes.

 

I put out screenplays to be looked over and have not received any responses, this is how I want it done in any case, and without given the screen away I will say this.

Something you did for a friend or relative or work colleague a few months ago will be repaid in full over the next few days. Your critics may say you don’t deserve what you gain but that’s jealousy talking. Ignore them.

Until we truly unite it is going to be this way.  Janet loves her attention even if it is long distance, and when things start to fly smoothly I often become complacent in that I become unworried and content and try to but my focus on other things that are important.  It is not neglect it is that I try to accomplish goals in the agenda and I know I will do it again but not intentionally, it is just a matter of habit.

 

I am not easily provoked, but she can get to my guts and she knows it and does this when I focus in another direction.  I do no feel it should be necessary to be in honeymoon status until the honeymoon.  Like you are telling me I am wired to the coming events, how am I going to take advantage and be an opportunist if I have to keep all the focus on her?  Why cannot I be made to feel confident and secure without the power of my character, but as a byproduct of her behavior.  Like I said in a new song, “I do not need your love, but can use your love, what I demand is some respect.”  The clash is that she demands attention, but maybe this is part Hollywood mentality and we can all grow, and then again maybe I need to be more in tune with her needs.  But even when I do not focus on her I do anyway.

 

I have some work that has to be done today on the studio, so I will be busy again tonight as I was last night.  Bear with me!

This is worst than racism, I had a friend that told me I was conceited because I could knock a ball over the fence and hit a home run when playing baseball, he became a good friend not because he told me to strike out but because he realized he had a talent also, he could draw pictures, he was a natural born artist.

 

Everyone has a role and what my role should be I should be based on my character; I did not ask anyone to be less than what they could be, but on the contrary to try to build on what they have to become a better person.

 

If my only downfall is to the ability to learn; or you say be humble which I think I am or should I play dumb to satisfy another’s lacking in something?  Really are you saying is to be fake?  Janet said she wanted a loyal fan and I took the word love out of my letters to her and place FPJ&G the loyal fan, which is the greatest act of all, what’s next?  Act dumb? Is that the message of the day?  What tattoo her nude photo on my forehead so I can see her every time I brush my teeth or look into the mirror?

 

The domino effect is a chain reaction that occurs when a small changes causes a similar change nearby, which then will cause another similar change, and so on in unimaginative series of events to “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.” (This is known as Murphy’s Law).  That is another story, however!

 

 

Message of the Day

 

It’s hard to be humble when you are clearly head and shoulders above others intellectually but you need to tone down your act a bit over the next 12 months. How can others work with you when they are so intimidated by your big brain?

The more a certain individual praises you to the skies the more wary you should be. You can tell that they don’t really mean it. You can tell that it’s all rather fake. Thank them for their kind words – but don’t lower your guard.
