The Mohegan Native American Tribal Nation has been in Connecticut since about the 16th Century. The have a 700 acre reservation in the village of Uncasville and is considered a sovereign nation not subject to local laws. The Mohegan Sun Casino and resort opened in 1996.
Janet Jackson and LL cool J will perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena on 11 October 2008. The Mohegan Sun seat about 10,000 people so ticket will certainly go fast. All the seats are good seats. Showtime is 8:00pm.
The multi-purpose arena hosts a wide variety of events and is the home of the Connecticut Sun (WNBA) since 2003 to present.
The Mohegan Sun is 128 miles from New York City and only minutes away from Rhode Island which is 43 miles away. The Mohegan s Sun attracts people from surrounding areas.
